Well, to be fair, I didn't just do it for that reason. I mean, if IPA had won the poll, we'd still be doing Lorwyn mini-block next. I am excited to see what Ravnica Block is all about, and the poll seemed to agree with me.
I don't understand the impulse to complain about the format, however. If there's another format you prefer, there are plenty of PDC events with other formats. There's also the possibility to start your own event. Or host a one-timer.
